Certified Spiritual Director

Doug Moister is passionate about helping pastors and kingdom leaders pursue health, wholeness, and faithful leadership.

As a Spiritual Director, Doug helps leaders slow down, listen well, and grow in attentiveness to the presence and voice of God. His work is deeply shaped by Ignatius of Loyola and the rich tradition of Ignatian spirituality, inviting leaders into deeper discernment, prayerful reflection, and intimacy with Christ. Doug was trained as a Spiritual Director through Sustainable Faith and is part of the Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association community.

As a Coach, Doug works with pastors and ministry leaders to cultivate healthy rhythms, sustainable leadership, discernment, and thriving teams. He specializes in leader health, organizational clarity, and the development of healthy house church structures, bringing more than a decade of experience leading and multiplying house churches.

Since 2011, Doug has been part of the Renew Community in Lansdale, where Doug serves as Lead Pastor. His work centers on leading leaders, casting vision, and cultivating a church culture marked by creativity, hospitality, and trust in the Spirit.

Beyond his pastoral work, Doug is a lifelong learner, a student of church history, and someone who feels most alive outdoors. He and his wife, Mear, love spending time with their adult children and remain deeply grateful for the ways God continues to move in and through their community.
